JCAA Cumulative Relicensure Credit Program

| Supporting members
through professional development is a primary focus of JCAA's
mission. Members receive either a transcript listing, following each
semester, for all the JCAA sponsored Professional Development
workshops they attended and the clock hours during a semester or they receive a certificate of attendance at the event.
Credit is recorded as clock hours which can be converted to
license renewal requirement using the following formula authorized
by the Colorado Department of Education:
- 15 clock hours of approved inservice education = 1 semester
relicensure credit
- Six semester credits are required for renewal.
- Copies of the transcripts are mailed to individuals.
- Members can combine JCAA inservice hours with inservice
hours sponsored by other entities in order to accumulate
hours for relicensure credit..
