Administrative Compensation

Administrative Compensation was settled in June. JCAA accepted the salary increase that was offered to JCEA. A new agreement was reached with JCEA that included a higher pay increase. JCAA's compensation was changed to reflect that increase on August 7. You should have received an email from Human Resources detailing the changes. You can access the link through the Jeffco HR website, or through JCAA’s website.  Call Mike 2-6839 or Amy 2-6543  if you have questions about the agreement or how to determine quartile.

New Collegial Converations Group Forming

Jill Colby (Principal at D'Evelyn Jr/Sr) and Sue Borzych (Principal at Stober Elementary) will be facilitating a new Collegial Conversations group (GROUP D) for 2009-2010. Group D will meet at Ruby Tuesdays, 8025 W Bowles Ave, in Littleton on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Other Collegial Conversations groups have a specific focus (i.e., Elementary or Secondary). This group will remain "full range" focused - meaning that any administrator (central, instructional, charter, option...) is welcome to attend. The first Group D meeting is September 10. Signup is limited to 15 people.

If you have a concern or celebration or you know a JCAA colleague in need of support, please let the JCAA office know.

We always check with the person to make sure it's okay to send out the message and we honor the member's wishes.
