Each year, JCAA sponsors events specifically designed to give
members a chance to network with their peers. Regularly sponsored
networking events include the JCAA Socials and the Year-End
Celebration. Members receive invitations and flyers to these
special events. We also hold professional development and representation
events, so please check out those sections!

What's Funny About Stress? by Karyn Ruth White
7:30 - 10:30 AM
Start 2010-2011 off with a look at how you can help yourself and others "find better thoughts", "gain control over personal and organizational stress", and "use humor as a powerful life and productivity skill." Karyn Ruth White will present a motivational message to start the year on a positive (and humorous) note.
The program will be held in the morning at the Arvada Center and will include a breakfast buffet.
With 20 years as a motivational speaker and entertainer, Karyn Ruth White brings experience, confidence, and an understanding of the inner-workings of business to her presentations. Her program "Laughing in the Face of Stress" has been televised repeatedly over the past several years. She has been featured in the Denver Business Journal and the The Denver Post and has appeared as a humor and stress expert on Channels 7 and 9. |

- Join other Jeffco administrators to unwind, relax and communicate with folks who have been (or are) where you are today. Add a little laughter to your day as you figure out just how much you have in common with others in the district. Pick up a pointer or two, or just catch up with an old friend (or make a few new friends).

2010-2011 Pictorial Directories.
JCAA members will receive a complimentary copy when they become available in January 2011. Emeritus members should either stop by the office or request a mailed copy.
Non-members can purchase the directory for $15 each (non-members should call Mary Wagner to reserve your directory copy today!).

The event will include recognition of retirees, recognition of outgoing board, introduction of incoming board members, change of presidents with remarks by incoming president Kevin Carroll.
There will be a presentation for 30 minutes following breakfast and before the recognition section.
